We had such an amazing time playing the Gladstone in Toronto last night – and we have some great pictures to prove it! Thanks to Back2Basics for the amazing shots. Go check out his other stuff too!
Help us get onto Warped Tour by visiting this link and playing some of our songs!
Great news! We found a hair studio in Toronto that can keep up with our ever-changing looks! 52 Hair Studio is on Fort York downtown, and is run by Charlie and Jenny – a son and mom duo that are hilarious and talented. Both of them compete in hair shows across Canada, and they were ready and willing to try out some cool colours and cuts on us! Bonus – they play great music throughout your haircut…

We have had a great time in Montreal (Mont Tremblant) – check out the view we’ve had:
It hasn’t just been a vacation – we have been hard at work re-working some of our songs to prep for our time in the studio with Jason. We are excited to share some of these re-works at our next show in Toronto March 27th at the Gladstone Hotel. This is a FREE show so, stop by for a beer. We’re on at 10pm.
What should we listen to today in the car on the drive home? These are some of the artists on today’s playlist:
– …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of the Dead
– Alice in Chains
– Veruca Salt
Have a great week everyone!
Hey all you rockers!
We may have been silent for a while on here – but for good reason! We’ve been busy in meetings, writing contracts and songs, and being generally stoked! Why you ask?
It’s official – we have signed a production agreement! We will be recording our E.P. (5 songs) in the next few months with Jason Pierce! Jason is super talented (he is currently drumming for Our Lady Peace) and he is energetic and weird enough to handle the two of us and our oddities! We are sure he is going to get the best sound for our E.P so we can provide our fans with an epic album!
In other news, we are going to Montreal snowboarding for a week in the beginning of March to take a mental break before we head into pre-production. Tomorrow night we are playing a gig in New Market – and our next Toronto show is March 27th at the Gladstone hotel. Hope to see you all there!
We wanted to also thank Elissa Barclay for having us play at her CD Release party at the Cameron House – it was a sold out event, and we had a blast!
Take care everyone, and stay warm!
Are you a fan of Brand New? We are huge fans! We like opening our set with a song by them called Millstone – we thought we’d make a video of it, so you could love the song as much as we do!
“I’m my own stone around my neck”
We finally have new songs for you to listen to! You can check them out on our bandcamp or soundcloud, or you can click on the music tab on our site! We want to thank Kerr Village Productions for recording these acoustic tracks with us!
We have been working hard at getting all the details planned for our trip to Chicago in September to record, and we are also working on recording a few more acoustic tracks in the next month or two.
Hope you like the songs!
Thanks to everyone who came by to our Hamilton show last night at The Doors Pub! Firstly, it was epicly awesome to meet some new friends who had heard about us through Facebook. Always amazing to see social media paying off! We had a great set opening for the elementals – we had a Nirvana flashback while we watched them. Definitely a band to watch out for. Thanks to Pyramids on Mars and Clam Hash for coming out and playing as well!
If you missed us in Hamilton this time, no problem – we are playing an early show January 30th at Club Absinthe so see you then!
